Does anybody know where one can be had? For the JDM impaired EF9 is the JDM Civic SiR Hatchback, but if you arre JDM impaired your probally allready lost about the topic. Been looking for 2years not hard obviously, but my efforts are to no avail please someone help me.

 

You're looking for the hatchback one with those reflectors, right?

I would kill 10 babies in front of their mothers for one. Good luck trying to find that item. I've never seen one for sale. You're gonna have to get a plane ticket to find one of them, I think.

no reflector, just a lip and the bottom doesn't curve in as much as USDM. Just like this

and he will tell you that jdm ef9 rear bumper is also lighter due to not using the rear bumper support, ahh population control isnt it great


p.s. that first pic is edm becaus those are rear foglights AND the tail lights only have a orange square, remember jdm the orange wraps all the way around the edge, i almost miss gay ef's

Yea I feel so much safer with our bumpers, they are good to a whopping 10 MPH.

Exactly. The lightness really does matter, especially if u have the JDM front and back bumpers. Those USDM supports are friggin heavy as hell. Plus, i look at this way...if someone gets in an accident in an EF that is major enough to cause injury, then the supports most likely wont help ya out. An EF can crumple with a quikness, with or without supports.

 

agreed my ef crumpled like a decrepet tin can in a 7mph collision.

I have radio back strap holding my bumpers on my CRX, any weight you can save is good. Our cars wreck we are fucked anyway. I put a JDM front end on my beater a couple of weeks ago and it raised my frontend up 1cm, had to crank the coilovers down. Besides in Ohio USDM **** bumper supports are nothing more than a big cake of rust and corrosion.

We do not have those fugly taillights in europe... so the black one is NOT edm... opposed to what FatBoy4door says, we have full amber corners.

Besides that, not all EDM civics got the lights in the bumpers like that. Varies per year..just like the 88/91 crx bumpers are different in shape.
And that lip is not oem. It is a modified front lip, cut to fit.

on second note.... might be right about the lip.
it IS in the brochure.... but it still looks 99.9% like the front lip off my ED.
