Im not tryin to make a faster build up or n e thing.. i jus need to put this LS head together to run on my car. i am missin 4 retainers from my LS head and i could get sum gsr valve springs and retainers for free. So id rather get sum retainers and valve springs for free instead of buyin 4 retainers for $20.. but i have heard from sum people that the gsr retainers and valve springs can possibly work on a LS head...or would it work if i jus use the gsr retainers on the ls valve spring..? let me kno..thanks for the help..peace

 

I dont think it will work correctly.. They are different heights.

 

the springs would probably be ok, but the retainers...

so will the ls valve springs work wit gsr retainers?

 

not 100% sure but i think the GSR retainers will work on the LS springs. the reason im saying this was when i was look n for retainers for my car, they said that the retainers were for all B series motor.
