hey guys...well about a month ago i bought some red zenki lug nuts and i loved em but now theyre faded and they look pink...is there a way to paint lug nuts or powder coat them or something so that when i put them on the paint wont get stripped???thanks in advance:.


*edit* is there a way i can strip the red, well pink, paint of the lug nuts?

powder coating/anodizing would be the only way. Probably cheaper to buy new lugs.

The Zenkei's fade really quick. I sprayed a few layers of clear coat on mine, but they're still fading.

just buy new ones

 

ummm . . . get new ones or powdercoat

 

i have seen that "anodizing in a can" type spray paint before..dont hold me to specifics and..i dont know how good it works but..i too have recently bought the zenki's and have a feeling i may need a "re-paint" in the future. i got the blue so i'll be rocking teal lugs soon

sorry to say, but your better off buying some new ones. spray painting them will be a quick fix but they will strip as soon as you put them on the wheels w/ your wrench. with getting the colored ones, expect fading sooner or later. im running red volk lugnuts and they are starting to lose its color.
