I have 2000 Honda Accord EX 6 cylinder with about 10,880 miles.
Last week, I've been experiencing at start up, when turning the key,
hear a short static or buzzing noise. The sound disappears and
it happens intermittently . Any ideals on this problem.
I have an appt for service with Honda and if I describe the problem, will
they be able to identify it?

 

Can you nail down where it's coming from? Could be just the fuel pump starting up.

 

I hear it when I turn the key in the ignition. I think the sound is from
the dashboard where the battery/ck engine light side.
