Default Installed my DC jdm header and 2.5inch cat

It was pretty easy to do being that I cut every old bolt off. I used a Tanabe b-pipe and kept my thermal exaust from axle-back. I cut the bottle neck off the Tanabe and welded on the reducer and the flanges to it and the cat. I didnt drill a bung for the second O2 sensor, I just covered it in foil and zip-tied it to the shift-linkage.
It feels pretty nice, it definately has a little more pull up top. Other than that, no CEL yet and the clearance sucks

Header still silver, making sure everything lines up

Out with the old, in withthe Bling

Old bottle neck

New bottle neck I welded in a hurry, and it doesnt leak so F- it

And now it turned gold, minus the purple marks

Looking good.

Could you post pics of the sensor and how you wrapped it up?

Very nice!

Let us know if that keeps the CEL away.

i've heard of this method and it seems that it only lasts a little while before the CEL is thrown. however, good luck with it and do tell how it goes.

i'm curious if you felt any losses in the low to mid rpm range, going from a 4-2-1 to a 4-1 header.

Is the second O2 just for emissions?

What did you do with the second hole in your header for the CEL?

I didnt feel any losses, if anything I feel gains. The second O2 sensor is just for emissions, and its in the exhaust. I've been driving for over 500 miles now, and still no CEL. I'll see how many I can drive w/out it coming on

No losses here
