Why is my CEL on the dashboard flashing?
I have a B16A running a PR3. All of the other B16A swaps I've done for other people, when getting a CEL, only stays on, not flash. Does anyone elses CEL do this? and what is the difference if the light stays on constantly or flashes? btw, the ecu flashes states I have a code 7(TPS).
you might have jumped the service connector.... or alot of obd-1 conversion harnesses have a service line on them that you might have grounded out... that is how you check for codes with them.
Have you adjusted the ignition timing lately and forgot to pull the service connector jumper out?

I haven't adjusting the timing nor is there a jumper connector.

Have you checked the ECU harness wiring to see i f anything is being grounded out or something? I looked at the ECU pinout for a PR3 and it loks like the ones most likely to cause a problem would be the following:
B06 GRN/ORN MIL check engine warning light
B20 BRN SCS ignition timing adjusting connector
C11 GRN/WHT MIL ground
Of course I'm just taking a wild guess, but it wouldn't hurt to check the wiring out for those ECU pins.
