ok installed my JDM Sir Cluster today, but i have a question.

i can't seem to get the door or trunk open lights to come on.... (but i think i might have my own answer). I did not hook up D1 White/blue (illuminates all doors when ground (-) is applied) from small green plug on back of cluster, my question is does this have to be hooked up for a ground source for the display, since d10 (black/yellow) is said to be switched power.

i ran my vss signal wire directly to the ecu, then spliced that to the cluster

 

i did it the oposite, works fine, guess either way you want to do it is fine... sweet. now what about that little door open diagram.....

 

you will have to run your own wires to each individual door...us models the doors are all connected...(tells you door is open but not which one) jdm tells which one is open...

 

ok but i hooked up the trunk and that doesn't light up? what's the deal w/ that? do i need to connect d1 to ground to get it to illuminate?
