Who knows about fiberglass sunroof fillers and hatches?
I am interested in the hatch and possibly sunroof filler for my 91 . I found them at
http://www.streetorstripperformance.com/fiberglass.htm
There was another site but I can not find it at this time, it had some pics too.
I would like to find out the quality before I purchase I don't want to spend hours making something work becuase it is poorly made...I want it to look similar to stock, anyone have a clue? Thanks in advance.

just wondering are you planning on running this on the street ? BTW I was also wondering how these parts would work and if you could run the doors with glass windows
I am going to run the fal windows so the hatch will be fine, I think I might be able to use it on the street. the car doesn't hit the street too much
! I wouldn't use the fiberglass doors just because of the safety issue.
To evryone else if you have any advanced knowledge about this stuff let me know I would be interested to hear any and all info.

No, I don't think you could put functional glass windows on those doors...
I have a full fiberglass front end from http://www.mmrusa.com/fg.htm
I'm not sure if that's the same company or not.
But I wasn't impressed with the quality of my piece, though admitedly, I was probably expecting too much. The edges were rough, not finished at all... The underside was rough as well.. You can look at this picture here:

You'll notice the rough edges (the chipped gelkote on the "white" part of it). And the underside wasn't finished at all...if that's a concern of yours.
The gelkote did need to be sanded down thoroughly before painting because of the dips and pockets. We just used a little guide coat (carbon like powder that will fill any low spots, so you just sand until it's all gone). Nothing TOO bad, but when you have to sand down a whole front end, it gets a little old. I'm not sure how common these sorts of problems are, but I imagine they are fairly common.
As far as fiting, everything worked out great. And although we put in a removable lexan sunroof (removable as in, get out of the car, and use an electric screwdriver to take out 16 seperate screws..
), I would like to know how the hatch piece works out for you, if you decide to purchase it.
