I know I drive a Civic, and I usually send non-ITR owners who post in the ITR forum weird PM's, but I figured what the hell, it might be better to post in here.
Last winter I was pissed and accidentally did a dorifto into a curb in my neighborhood, bad wheel bearing was the result. Was stupid and drove it like that and was lucky not to have anything happen.
I put my 5-lug on (everything including shocks/springs) and had it aligned, back left side toe (curb side) was at -.25 so thats why my tire was worn to a slick....
Anywho, when going into a turn normally (normal TN backroads at 5-10 over posted speed limit) there is like a pop or multiple pops from the back left side. Since it did it when I was turning off the drag strip last night at a very low speed (had started doing it on way to strip) I parked it and gave all the bolts a look over and copped a feel to make sure they weren't lose. Everything looked and felt fine.
I purchased the set of CTR shocks/springs (manufactured in 99, should have low miles as most CTR stuff does) from b18c1_powered_si. Considering the year of manufacture (avg. 99+ CTR has 30-50km) I don't think my shock is blown as it feels normal when driving.
Do you guys have any thoughts other than the Aquafina/Trey matrix?
