What do you guys think?
Someone offered me $5k for my car.
Here is the details of my car
'94 Accord Coupe EX 5spd
Every option from the factory, except rear spoiler
Leather interion, 6speaker cd player, power everything, power sun roof, mileage is ~160k, but odometer reads ~120k, because i had to replace the whole guage cluster, my tach went screwy and wouldn't read correctly, honda wanted $300 to fix it, a new used guage cluster was $80, so i put it in. Aftermarket wise, it has AEM CAI, 'euro' clear corners, no front bumper lenses, coilovers, kyb agxs, Susp Tech rear swaybar, just put on brembo blank rotors today, Corbeau Targa RS driver seat, slides forward and backward, and reclines. DC Sports Short Shifter adapter. I also have a set of prelude rims to go along w/ it, they are 1" wider than the accord rims, i was going to use them for racing. They are the 9spoke spiral rims.

and you want to sell it why?........
if you are concerned that you havent got anywhere performance wise with the car, that is easily solvable i used to bitch about it then i did more research on the car itself from the standpoint of the way it was engineered, found things that totally sapped/restricted power from the motor and corrected accordingly

Engine and chassis are fine. Car still gets 33+mpg drives straight, etc. I was under the impression that the lude rims didn't need spacers as long as i ran a normal sized tire, such as a 205.
oh...... I see, Why do you want to get rid of your Accord? i had so much fun in mine this weekend I don't think I am ever going to sell it. It actually is getting a roll bar and harnesses pretty soon.
Hmm. Sell them the car for 5k without the wheels, and then ship me the wheels free of charge for the great idea!

Trade in value on that is only about $4,000 so it is a decent price. Something to think about.

The Kosei K1's have enough offset in the wheel to allow for a 225 tire size
When my Khumos wear out, which won't be long after 2 events at VIR in Febuary, I am going to put a set of track dedicated 225's on the K1's, probably Azeins, but I might go to the V700

I just started thinking about it this weekend and had not even started looking yet
I am leaning a little bit more towards V700's even though Corey thinks my car is too much fun on streets to upgrade to R compounds

I doubt the guy really wants the lude rims. If i sell it, i can keep the rims, and we can work something out.
Reason why i am selling is, i want to try something different. I've raced this car for 2.5yrs now.

It is possible that I will be doing a 5 lug conversion over to a 98 Prelude system, so I might not need them.
urban-i've been autoxing it for 2.5yrs and have been to Talladega Gran Prix twice, i was suppose to be at VIR, but because of school and lack of tires (my street tires are shot) i couldn't make it. I plan on doing the Honda-Challenge w/ it in a yr or 2 once i get a tow vehicle and what not.
I think im just going to keep my car, i only have 9 payments left on it, and i don't want to end up paying 300-400 a month for 6yrs for another car, if i got another car, it would prob be a R.

good choice........ wait until you put her out on VIR full course, the 5th generation is too much fun on that track. You should have come up and rode around with me for a few laps
Dude if you're even considering selling your car you must not like it very much for whatever reason, so might as well sell it.
No matter how shitty my car runs or how broke I might be, the thought of selling it has never even come close to my mind, and I've had a few offers.
The car is your buddy. Don't sell out on your buddies.

Besides we represent a small minority in racing, which is highly considered an underdog. I love representing the Accord on the track and getting compliments for driving the **** out of it past faster cars.
Yeah, man, like at the track there are a BILLION Type Rs and Civics, but just a few (if any) Accords. On the track they are the most original and distinct cars out there.
(And I'm just talking Hondas, there are a boatload of 3 series, and Jettas too)

I would go w/ the car you have, no car payments. My car is paid off and it's great not paying anyone that amount of cash monthly, spend it on other ****
