AEM Intake for 2004 Accord V6
I just got a 2004 Accord V6 Auto Sedan and would like to put an AEM intake on it. I did a search and did not find much info on this and was wondering how involved this this would be and would it actually be worth the effort. This would probably be the only mod to the engine. Will be doing suspension soon! Any input would be greatly appreciated.
ur looking at about 8 hours of install time plus major cutting and modifying and relocating parts....
no but really, take out old intake, cut hole next to battery, put in new intake piping, take off splashguard, put on filter, total time like 30 min assuming its a cold air intake
for a short ram, take off old intake, put on aem intake, total time 2 min
its about as easy as things can get, only thing easier is putting stickers on ur car...

I did not think it would be too bad. I put one on a buddys 1999 Accord V6 and that was a pain because you had to modify the fender splashguards and relocate some minor stuff....I saw some dyno graphs on AEM's website which shows 15-20hp gain for the 2003 Accord V6. Any idea if that is actually true? Hows the sound level for the AEM Cold Air? Still trying to decided if this is actually something I would do to this car. Thanks Again. Any input would be greatly apprecited!
I got mine in my 03 v6 coupe. Easy installation. Didn't see 15-20 hp increase, sounds better than OEM. Maybe 5hp increase, haven't dynoed yet.
