Default band saw blade?

when it comes to purchasing a blade for my bandsaw, which one should i get? are more teeth per inch better? or less teeth per inch better?

I'm pretty sure we use a 16 teeth per inch blade i will confirm tomorrow

Depends upon how thick your metal is. You want 3 teeth in the work piece to prevent blade damage and get the most efficient cut.

Im gonna have to say the Lenox Diemaster 14/18 as well, got one for my Jet H/V bandsaw and it hasnt dulled 1 bit, and i have cut everthing from chromoly, to big blocks of steel, and aluminum.
