03 Vs 04 S2k???
so i had a 2001 s2000 i crash that sucka a now i want to get another one but i dont know wether spending the money on a 04 is woth it. There isnt that much more difference between the 03 and the 04. I know the rims are bigger and v-tec kicks in sooner. But is it really worth the extra cash.?

Did the crash in the 01 model damage your brain?

well, for daily driving it is an improvement. In all out performance, it is about the same. It has slightly more peak HP, but the F20C has a longer powerband, evening things out. Basically, the displacement yields torque which means you don't have to get on it as hard. the 04 model has an 8000rpm redline which many don't like.
Is it worth the cash? No, the depreciation will be over $11,000 over just 3 years. You can pick up a 01 for like 21K and it will probably lose less than $6000 3 years from now.

Wow...you too must be nutz. I'll agree that there is a notable difference in a daily ride in an 04 vs. an 00-03. My friends' 03 is slightly stiffer on our same local roads than my 04.
BUT, the just because the F20C revs to 9k doesn't make it "better" than the F22c1. I won't even get into it because time and time again it's been argued.
And how do you figure an 04 will lose $11,000 of depreciation on just 3 years? Maybe if you put 225k miles on it and it looks like poop. In my area, my 04 still holds a retail value of over $31k, which is only about $2k less than it's sticker price. And it is a year old already.
But, in the reality of the situation, one person's driving habits and styles are different from the next.
Kudos.

I'm not sure what to make of this attempt at english...
If it's what I think it is, do all cars that have ABS have to come with rear ABS also, I don't think so.

u seem to know a lot about s 2000 why would the head light not be balanced. One would project the light higher then the other. My friend said that usually its hard for then go off balance other than an accident.
The depreciation arguement is actually something to think about. Give it a year and 04s are going to lose value bigtime, just as the previous years have. Basically, i think you should get a 02 because its already availible at a significantly lower price, has the nice benefits vs 00/01, and the price prob wont decrease as harshly as a newer S in a year or two.
