centercaps stuck :(

Default centercaps stuck :(

i tried to yank my monster 17" rH c5's off my eg coupe today. cuz i wanted to roll steelies for a little while, and dammit, its liek welded on there (not really welded). i didnt want to put any more force into the plastic tool that rH gives so is there any other solution?

its probably rusted on.. can u get in the back and spray some WD40 in there? i forgot how those rims are from the inside.. maybe u can use some vibration..

Lube it up... then try a big pair of channel locks with a rag around the center cap so you don't scratch it.

but its powder coat, that stuff will even strip powder coat?

and yea i broke the plastic tool now

dam i need one fat *** tire iron then. my center caps are like 3 inches from side to side

yea i got 3 off then my tool broke, and i have one left thats like superglued on there

yea this sucks, i emailed dazz and they arent responding cuz i wanted to order another wrench....dude, i could just fab one myself if i had the tools.

one darn center cap left...

Man, I had the came problem with my C2s. I think when I got the tires put on, they cross threaded the center cap. So I hade to use a wrench to get it off and then buy a new center cap.

i broke the tool for my bro's c2's also. i wound up using a huge adjustable wrench to get 2 of my caps off
