Anyone use Hobart Handler 140?
Ok, I just got a Sears card and I want a welder... What should I get? I want to be able to repair manifolds and other exhaust components as well as other automotive applications. I'm guessing that a MIG welder would be the place to start. I want gas shielding and I wouldn't mind something that could do Aluminum (I know MIG and aluminum sorta don't mix...). I think from the lineup at sears, the Hobart Handler may be the best bang for the buck. I'm not too familiar with welders though, so I'm looking to the masters for some advice... Thanks in advance!!
I have the handler 140 and love it. We made charge pipes with it a couple weekends ago and were very happy with the welds. As soon as I buy another tank for tri and stainless wire, I'll try some stainless.
I got mine from this guy, just an FYI http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISA...&rd=1
