o2 faker
i have a d15 and i am gonna put a header on it, does anyone know how i can just bypass the o2 sensor, just like a plug for the header and a little cap for where the plug where the o2 sensor hooks up to the wiring harness. please give links to where to buy these things, or if you can get them at napa or sumthing.
Putting on a o2 sensor should never give you a check engine light, unless ofcourse the o2 sensor is totally messed. In terms of an extender if you wanna be really cheap, mark all the wires so you know which one goes to which and then make an extender by cutting the wires and butt connecting in extra wire to make it longer. This looks really unprofessional but it will work.

if you are serious about getting your O2 wires lengthened and you dont want a ghetto *** job hit up, unsungsohc on here. he is from plainview MN and has lengthened o2 sensor wires and done a lot of other misc wiring stuff. he would probably do it for like $5 if you sent your sensor to him and sent like $2 to ship it back. so you are looking at maybe $10 and a few days of downtime, but it is a lot better than not having an O2 sensor.

does the header you are going to install have an O2 bung near the flange where it bolds to your exhaust or no flange at all??? midas sells O2 bungs for like $5 and you can find them other places for even cheaper. and it wouldnt be hard to weld one on. i do it all the time for wideband use..
