prolly 2.5 hp at the crank. heh i'd only do it if u just built a motor..or need to replace the headgasket. not specifically pulling the head just to do a headgasket..not worth it

wat? thinner headgastket prolly add 2.5 at crank? are you kidding man? for gasket? i thought gasket are classfied for their insulant=meaning preventing high heat temperature transfer from the head to header, of course it wills help but 2.5hp?

Dude... headgasket is different to an exhaust manifold gasket.....

what would u know, your form AUSTRAILA

hehe

sorry if im an *** to the wrong person...

dude your from CALI your supposed to know this ****. i live on the east coast and were like 10 years behind cali. headgasket just keeps oil with oil and water with water. it also seals up the space between the head and block and the thinnner u can makeit the more compression you get. IMO the addition in compression MIGHT be negated by the resulting cam timing i dont have any data to back that up tho

oh my bad man....compression can be raise or drop can also depends on the gasket thinner = raise the compression right?

*nods* Yep.....Thinner = increase in CR
Thicker = decrease in CR
Standard thickness........ no change to CR.....but I'm sure you would have figured that out by now though!
