hondata on rs?
I havnt heard of anybody of putting a handata ecu on a non-vtec integra. either they put them on a gsr, typer, or rsx type s. And on hondatas website it says there is one available for the non-vtec integra. If i get this what kind of benifits would i be looking at. I know the hp gain is a little different between each car. but is it worth it?
Yeah from your sig, it does not look like you have the supporting mods to make it a worthwhile purchase. You dont need it know at this point. It wont really do you much good.
yah, thats what i was wondering. because on a rsx type s if u have an intake and exhaust the hondata makes a really big difference. What would you guys do next then? Header? Im pissed i dont have a gsr, not enough stuff you can put on a non-vtec motor. and i dont have the money for a engine swap, turbo, or supercharger.
hhehehehee of course i wasnt comparing it. im just saying, am i going to get that kind of performance jump using a hondata like a rsx gets. and from what you guys are saying, no. i can compare my car to a base rsx 5 speed though. so yah i guess i can compare my car to a rsx. because i would take my car any day over a base rsx.

If you go turbo or super charge either way your motor is gonna blow less than a year. I say just go all motor, port and polish your ls head, resleeve it and b16 tranny with lsd, upgrade your valve springs and retainers, that's a good enough to smoke stock gsr. Doing that set up you wont blow your motor, remember all motor always last longer than a turbo or super charge car!!

wtf? all that cost more than an ls motor and a turbo kit.....if he were to go turbo he could run a steady 7-9 lbs on stock internals for a good while, AS LONG AS IT HAS PROPER TUNING..

well if i went turbo or supercharger i would have to to an engine rebuild also. since i have 130,000 miles on my car. it still runs great, but it probably wouldnt like the stress of a turbo or superchager and those kind of miles.
i'm also kinda hesitant to turbo my rs w/150,000 mi.
i plan on piecing my kit together and doing it right the first time around.
i'll be boosting like 7-8 pounds more or less on stock internals
.
do you guys think my b18b will hold up?oh and i'm gonna be using an ems not a piggyback
