i dont want to be a dick, but that is weak.

what is it... a lense flare, ocean ripple for the background, radial blur on the rim, and some airbrushed smoke?

Yeah I know it's weak, I just got photoshop two days ago, and this is what I've learned so far. And i posted it up on H-T so the NICE people can give me some pointers on how to do things.

ok. first things first then.

if you want to learn:

1: start with a big, high quality image.
2: adjust colors acordingly. use levesl to your advantage, its your best friend when toucing up.
3: layer -> new adjustment layer -> selective color. play around, it really helps.
4: avoid filters. for any car photo, the ONLY filter i will ever touch is sharpen or unsharp mask, that just keeps it crisp when resizing.

when i did those i just went on a photoshopping frenzy for like 2 weeks...

the ones before that sucked hardcore. i would say that ive been photoshopping for like a year or so, but i go on spurts... like when i first got it i started playing around with it for a few weeks. strangely my spurts usually come on school vacations like winter break, spring break, summer break. usually i dont have time to really sit down and work at one.

heres my other two really good ones. the rest that im not posting are just so-so

the XLR was a quickie and the Element was a good 2-3 hours of color matching... fun fun!!

yes, you've been working on your (PS) skills for a long time. This is what I learned in 2 days. So I don't think there is a reason for you posting this "but back to the original thread starter pic... is all i have to say". Yeah it might suck ***** to you, but to me it looks nice for only having (PS) for two days!

That's not supposed to be grass, something went wrong and the drop shadow box came up and did some weird things and lots more operations. my comp froze for few seconds, and I got mad so i pressed alot of buttons and ya. When it came back from the frezze mode things just happend. Yes, why didnt I go back and change it? The history function can only hold some of the operations I do, so i couldn;t change it. Well its like this now, like it or not i'm happy with my first chop!
