does anybody have a factory handbook from a honda with a b16 factory equpped?
if so what's the recommended fuel rating? I've always wondered this...

 

you need 95 oktan

 

i use premium only... im pretty sure i read it somewhere un the car though... ill check when i go out later...

 

Wouldn't make sense to use super high octane.... b16 isnt super high compression. Turbo = 92+ octane only, so maybe 89-90 on a b16?

 

I would recommend running a 92+ octane

 

I have a 99 si and in the gas door it says use premium unleaded fuel.

 

i use 91 octane chevron supreme gas.

 

all dohc vtecs require premium (91+) fuel

what about dohc non-vtecs? i put 87 in my LS

 

i use regular 76. i have a stock sohc besides intake. plus gas is hella money here in cali

haha, i never heard of 76, but anyway i have a stock 99 si and it is required to use 93

I just use regular, but thats just for my crappy 92 hatch.. for the b16 you probly need better gas.. so Id reccomend that.

for a stock d15b.. i would be using 76 if they had it....

actually its kinda slower by itself but if u mix it with water then it wil take off 1.356 seconds off the 1/4

 

so what should i put in the LS? I need to beat more ricers in the quarter mile, c0mm0n y0!

 

ya and u could probably slap on a few stickers if u dont mind spinnin the tires too much
