For those who have done this, what exactly is involved? I'm planning on getting a 5G 4 door, and I like how the coupe/hb front bumper cover looks. I think it would make the 4 door a little more sporty looking, without having to spend $$$ on an aftermarket front bumper. Any input is much appreciated. TIA.

I'm not sure but i think it's a direct bolt on. One of my neighbors had a 5th gen 4dr, and he had a coupe/hb front end on there. He didn't even noticed the difference, because he's not into cars, just an old guy driving a Civic.

 

I don't think it's a direct bolt-on. If you look at parts for the coupe/hb & sedan, they are different. Clear corners for coupes/hb WILL NOT fit sedans. Hoods for coupes/hb WILL NOT fit sedans. I think it will take some modifications, nothing major to make the coupe/hb front end fit on a 4door.

 

I guess there is only one way for me to find out for sure. I forgot about the differences when it comes to corners and hoods. Thanks for the input guys.

Yea, I was planning on converting to the Coupe/HB Bumper to my car too. I wanted to get a lip and I thought it would look a lot better with the Coupe/HB Bumper. I heard it was a direct bolt on, but if not, i know someone who is very good with body work and could make almost anything fit.
