Ok - maybe this has been done, but I haven't seen anything on it.

I'm really tired of the cables on my civic heater/vent control panel on the dash.
Everytime I have to do something behind there it's a PITA.

I'm aware that the CRX uses only 2 cables and then wires and servos for rest of the functions.

I would like to take the CRX unit and put it in my Civic.
That would get rid of most of those annoying mechanical cables and leave me with only 2 to deal with.

I would need to add all the servos and wires.
Anyone have some insight on this?
Is mounting the servos pretty straight forward and easy to do?

 

to come across a non craked crx climate control you are goiing to pay out the ***. to be honest with you I would rather have a civic one in my rex.

that part doesn't bother me.
