Q about rear disc conversion
I'm changing my rear drums to disc. My question is do I need to change my master cylinder? I'm getting conficting reports concerning this, and I'm hoping someone here will know? And if you could post an explanation please
I don't think that u would have to change them. I am working on doing the swap myself. THe biggest thing that i would worry about is swappin the proportional valve or the metering valve. When u have front discs and rear drums, ususally they are proportioned to have less psi in the rear, b/c drums tend to lock up more than disc and the fact that when u brake most of the weight is taken off the back and shifted tward the front makes the biggest difference. I am not sure if anyone else knows what's up, but i will be researching......
