Do you have 16" Regamasters or Spoons? Help!!
16x7" 4x100.
I took off my spoons today and had a question I hope you can answer. I just noticed this. On the hub of one pair of wheels, where the wheel sits on the rotor, it's flat. On the second pair, it has some material removed or hollowed out slightly. Do you know why? two different production runs? They're all 45 offset. Just my luck, the same wheels were mounted on the same side of the car......does it matter? I thinking the wheels on the left side of the car weighed a bit less than the wheels on the right side, or vice versa. Since one pair is probably a little bit lighter than the other pair would the uneven balance between cause my car to brake in a not so straight line?

I don't think the little bit of weight difference will affect the performance of the car. You are talking about a a few ounces or less.... Maybe the equivalent of wheel weights on the wheels for balancing...
Weird that two of your wheels differ like that. You sure they are all real Spoons?

Yeah, they're real... Desmond stickers on all of them It's my understanding one pair is from an older run and the ones with the recessed propellor thing (picture a super street propellor logo with an extra thingy on it) are the newer ones. Since they come in pairs, I guess it was just luck, or bad luck...whatever.
This recessed part is for the Desmond wheel caps from what I understand. The ones with the totally flat hub say "made in russa" on the back lip instead of on the hub.
I've heard variations in weight for the 16x7" Regamaster wheels... maybe this is the reason...
