Default EnzoRacing Header, Pictures, Pre-install Review.

A true merge collector. Pretty cool

Overall quality of this header is very very nice. I was duely impressed when i got it in the mail. Although there has been a whole crap load of drama with the split of HeaderTech, And a whole lot of people had to wait (and may still be waiting) on their headers, Its really worth it in the end to get a quality piece like this one. Now it should be known that i havent had time to put it on and size the test pipe, so interms of fitment you guys will have to wait until i put this thing on (mabye saturday or so). But I really want to send a thanks out to Enzo (Enzo-Racing here on HT) actually following through with sending me my header and being flexable with alot of things. While i did wind up waiting for around 7 months when i was told 2 weeks when i ordered it, the end product is worth it in my inital assesment.

P.S. The welds on the primarys and flange were outstanding as well. Very nicely done, if i feel up to it later ill take some MACRO shots

Yeah, it was a while, but in Enzo's defense the company split, and this and that. I was a little (a little...) frustrated over that time, but again in the end it was worth it so far.

Damn I really admire your patience. They would've gotten a month from me at max, and I'd be very unhappy.

Critical elements of header design

header configuration: 4:1, 4:2:1 etc.

Initial primary size

Primary Diameter

Primary length

Secondary diameter and length if applicable

Steps - How many, length, when and when not to step

Collector - Collector angle, collector inlet, collector outlet,
Collector options - megaphone, megpahone reverse cone, transition

A complete header design works together, when you have all of these elements properly configured you get a great header.

A great header will have gains throughout the complete powerband and may also have the engine realizing higher peak horsepowers then before.

We have also seen instances where a good header will lose horsepower due to an over scavenging effect. once the engine has been retuned great gains will be realized.

a header like any other performance componet requires fine tuning to realize the maximum power potential.

any other questions i would be more then happy to answer hope this helps.
