I'm crossing my fingers and hopeing this works out. I have to sell my current car before I can get it, and the deal hasn't quite gone though yet.

It's a 1995 Isle Green Pearl VTEC. All options, including floormats and car cover. Looks great and runs awesome except a dent in the rear side panel and the door panels/armrest is wrinkled (which I hear is really common) completely stock. It's wholesale and a friend of mine works for the dealer, so I know I can get it for less than $2k, possibly less than $1500.

I'm so excited!! It's totally stock, so the first thing is a new stereo (it's the stock Honda tape player), new targa seals (since it probably needs it) and DIY clear corner lights.

Anyone have any other ideas?? (Other than a motor swap, this is not intended to be raced, so don't even think about it!)

yup, first things first, drop it.
then get some nice rims and tires (or keep the sol wheels if you like em')

 

Just got my 93 del sol out of storage. Its still stock save for the tires. I have matching samba rims as well that came with it. Today I crossed off the first thing on my list, tint. I got the car as a grad gift back in 93 and never tinted it. Then parked it at my parents for 5 years. Now the interior is faded and I have the same crack problem (no not that kinda crack) in my door arm rests. Hmmmm, what else to do? Stereo and 6 1/2's are next i believe.

it's in the shop right now since a turbo kit is getting installed and a VDC kit...
but it's ok it'll be worth the wait once it gets out ...

correct me if im wrong, but dont del sol VTEC's have a B16 to begin with? I heard they are fast as hell, dont swap my dear, turbo all the way, haha

The Si's are SOHC Vtec...d16z6
But they also come in B16 (obd-1).

Did you decide that last year, when every other "drifter" did?

 

I had a Nissan....ok, I had three different ones. A sentra, an Altima, and a old school 300zx. They are uncomfortable and unreliable and freking slow. Plus there are about half the available resources for one....and less than half the aftermarket parts.
I'd rather be rice and riding, than Nismo and dead in the water. Get off my thread.
