Ok i have a buddy that wants the SPOON SPW38s or whatever, the wheels that slipstreams were copied from. He has cash in hand. however, some distributors are saying they are DISCONTINUED from SPOON in hte 4x100 lug pattern in the 15 inch wheel. some say they arent an that it can take 4 months to get some.

Anyone have any CREDIBLE info on this. Contact numbers to someone that has a NEW set for sale, or a distributor that knows whats going on. Thanks in advance.

Just get 3 or 4 sets of the Rota slipstreams.
They are just as ugly as the Spoons and don't even weigh a pound more.

The wheel is discontinued but you should be able to find old stock.

 

FYI, you may already know this, but Regamaster made the SW-388's for Spoon. Under the Regamaster brand name, they are the Evo. As was mentioned, they are discontinued and their various dealers seem to be clearing them out. Try the one H-T vendor "MemoryFab.com" (http://www.memoryfab.com/) they have them. Also RandDMotorsports, another H-T vendor, is selling them too. Either one should be able to answer availability questions on these versions.

Only thing is if your friend is set on the Spoon black anodized finished he won't get it with the Regamaster Evo, they came in white/silver/almighty grey (gunmetal).
