Default Clunk in the rear brakes!

So I've almost finished my rear disc brake conversion on my 89 crx si.

Car is currently on jackstands, no wheels. When I spin the rotor "fast" it makes a clunk sound as if something is hitting it. It only makes the sound if I spin it fast. What should I look for?

PASSENGER SIDE ONLY. Driver side makes no noise.

If you're sure nothing at all is in the way the only thing I can think of would be bad bearings.

if your just spinning it, and you hear it in the rotor, it could be your wheel bearing...but i wouldnt think it makes a clunking noise...

I was thinking wheel bearing too but that doesn't make a clunk sound does it?

i wouldnt think so, i would think it would be more of a scraping/metallic rubbing sound...

I've heard them make a clunk before.

Do you have any noticeable play?

Why not take your rotor off and check all around the area. It may be something as simple as a rock or something stuck in there somewhere.

I've had a problem in the front that goes CLUNK.
The caliper bracket was loose. Maybe yours is loose too???

Everything is good. I believe it was just loose rotor screws

I took off the caliper and rotor, turned it = no noise. Put everything back on and it was OK.
