I am interested in one.. Do they make a Spoon type lip for USDM tegs? I'm sick of scraping my lip!

Front splitters reduce lift
but create more drag

 

I think Andrew said that he will not be making a CF version.

 

Not trying to sound like a dick, but getting a CF lip isnt going to help that, instead its going to Chip, Crack, and maybe even break. Also remember Most aftermarket lips hang lower than stock.
Andrews Lip that he is making is for Racing use, I cant see why anyone would use it on street.

 

If you get a CF one, you'll be scraping a more expensive lip. Why get one if your scraping all the time.

if he's already scraping, he shouldn't get an aftermarket lip
instead you should raise your itr back up a bit and repaint your oem lip

 

Damn, that's ironic, I was just asking myself the same question this morning.

 

Hey, maybe you should put duct tape where you lip scratches. My auto teacher back in high school would do it for his M3 and we all laughed at him. But once we drove our cars into the garage. *scrape* *cringe* AHHHH. It'll look ghetto but you'll have a protected lip.

 

mike, what about the arc splitter?? will that fit the usdm lip???

I tried that also, but the tape kept coming off. So what I did was, I got a thin piece of sheet metal and bent it into place under the lip where the scrapes were happining. Once stuck it to the car by using this crazy double sided tape that I got from Home Depot, I used this white touch up paint and painted it to match the underneath. So now when I scrape, I just scrape the metal and not the TF lip I have. However I have noticed that by making it so that the lip doesn't give and scrape, you end up putting pressure on the lip since it can't give which could be a really bad thing if your lip scrapes alot. Something has to give, its just a matter on deciding what that will be.

 

dont the JDM Front end lips fit 94-97 tegs? I am pretty sure on this
