So I bought a Canon S500 and love it. BUT I have a couple of problems. Give me tips please.

1. Sometimes the pics come out blurry. So I just end up take multiple pics of everything, so one of the is clear. Is that normal with photography?

2. My pics are super 'crisp' with lots of bright colors like 'rodrez' and h-t members that rock.

Any tips on these things?

use one and you should eliminate question number one and produce question number two. slow shutter speed = SICK SATURATED PICS

 

i will have to consider it. can i test by just setting the camera down? would that get the same effect? thanks.

 

you mean setting the cam down on a flat surface? ground? legde? get a tripod.. $30 will get a you half-decent pod.

 

yes. our body can not be still unfortunately and will create a little shake (even if its not very noticeable)....here is a test, focus on something and change the shutter speed to say, 15 seconds. take the pic and during that 15 seconds, take note of how your body reacts. then look at the pic. it will look horrible unless you are made of stone.

try doing that for 30 seconds....40....etc.
