Default Cheapest place to buy OEM shocks? I don't need performance ones...

It seems the only shocks I can find are 'performance' shocks and in the $250+++ price range.

I just need something OEM style as mine are blown to absolute crap and I'm getting tired of driving it like that. It's so annoying. Suspension is completely stock so I don't need anything great.

Anybody have an idea of where to look?

original honda shocks new are going to be more expensive than paying $250 for tokico HP's. if youre just looking for a decent used set for dirt cheap, go to the junkyard and look for a totally unmodded car.

I don't mean OEM as in OE. I mean OEM as a 'stock' replacement part.

Yes I do.

Generally things are cheaper online, though and I was hoping somebody had a source.

Thanks for the help, I guess

Personally I dont think youll be able to beat a set of HP's on ebay for 216 or so. Thats just above $50/strut....cheap!

clever

I found a pretty good price on the GR-2's. Are these just a basic OEM style, or are they supposed to be an upgrade?

Just pick up some Tokico shocks or KYB gr2 are a good choice. The KYB come stock on Lexus suspensions. Im assuming your car isn't lowered or on stiff springs so It'll do you good to have it.

Good luck finding your shocks/struts.

One word- "E-bay". I do alot of buying there and stock shocks go for next to nothing! (just make shure to buy from some one with good feed back"95%-100%" )

I have those with stock springs (I am not interested in lowering or anything either). They are a bit stiffer than stock but a very smooth ride. And economical, too. I may go with HR shocks in the future but I am satisfied with my highway driver as is.
