91 Honda Civic DX
Ok, I've had this car about a year almost and it runs great with 163k miles on it. I'm thinking about making a swap. I've been reading past archives, and was wondering how much would a D-series cost for my civic.I'm looking for something with low miles that will make my car super reliable. I don't really know anyone in the area to drop the engine so how much does that usually cost?
d15b vtec 400 + 150 shipping
p08 ecu 75
si tranny 89-91 years 200
odb0-odb1 conversion harness 125
cost of swap 400
This may be outrageuos prices, but you can save alot of money by doing it yourself, saying odbo, finding stuff in the classifieds and on ebay. You may even be able to get a b series for that much, but hey I'm just replying to a post.

I have a D15B2. Thinking you got the same since you have a DX.
MPFI swap
Cheap Intake
DC Sports Headers (4-2-1)
Dynomax Catback Exhaust
AEM Adj. Cam
HX wheels w/Kumhos
Car runs pretty damn nice, has 230K+ miles on it.. doesnt smoke that bad either.
The MPFI was the best thing I did for my car. Night and day difference from DPFI. Only cost me around $200-250 after it was said and done. My car ran like **** before until I did this, 101% more reliable.
