my setup is an ls/vtec with b16 head, jdm itr pistons, so the compression is around 11.5:1 or so. what cams do you guys recommend for this setup? i'm lookin at these two sets but mainly the skunk2's because you can use them with stock valvestrain and i'm just not sure if i trust buddy club. let me knwo what you guys think

There are 1 or 2 HUGE threads on the Buddy Clubs .. basically, the BC's are the best cam for the money ($600 shipped WITH BC cam gears), and have the best power band. They made like like 16 (please don't quote me on this) or somethin like that HP over the CTR's cams, which are very similar to the Stage 1's. You could use the BC cams on stock valve train, if you retain the stock redline (according to BuddyClubUSA).

The setup I am finishing is pretty much the same as yours, stock ports in the head but it is built to support a little higher rpm. plus my head has been milled and I am using a thin head gasket. It will be running sometime next week. Then after break in I am going to dyno tune it. If you want to be pasiant we will both see the #'s. Or I can just keep you posted and you can buy the cams anyway.
