Tried a search... didn't quite get the answers I've been looking for. Gonna install hood pins on my girl's prelude and i wanna know if you guys used regular drill bits or special ones? Talked to a friend that had it professionally done and he told me they used a different kind of drill bit but doesn't know exactly what it was called. I'm willing to go out and buy some but first I need to know what kind...or if regular ones would work fine if i start off small...

Back in my carbon fiber hood days, I used a regular old drill and drillbit, nothing to it. Some people tape around the area you're drilling to avoid chipping, but I had a Fiber Images hood, and had no problems, even with a unibit.

sounds good... thanks for the heads up... i knew it couldn' t be that hard. I drilled a bunch of holes on my cf rear hatch, but then again i only drilled on the fiberglass parts...haha
