I've got a pile of parts...trying to see what I can make...some dumb questions too
I have a toasted JDM b16a with Eagle rods and CTR over size pistons. and a Complete b18b swap.
obviously the b18b with ctr pistons would be a good choice. But what would happen if I used the b16a rods on the b18b block?? would they fit without major issues? Would that drop my compression ratio down into the 8.X:1 (useless for all motor, but good for turbo)
Which is more cost effective (overbore or custom pistons)? : the b18b block, add the b16 h-beam rods and get custom pistons built to run at least a 9.0:1 ratio??
or
b18b block...overbored...use stock b18 rods with CTR pistons??

how about a 1.9 liter b16 that could be made with the parts you have (crank and rods) and easy potential for over 200whp
