need help distr. cap rotor

Default need help distr. cap rotor

I changed my cap, rotor, plugs and wires and now my idle is all messed up...what do i do?

Start off by checking that you have correctly gapped all the spark plugs and you are using the correct ones for your application.

Did you touch your TB cable?

Did you replace the plug wires to the correct spots?

most likely wrong plug order

firing order is 1,3,4,2

This is exactly what I'd look at first.

Then I'd take the cap off and look and see if the rotor is still in place and the screw is correctly tightened.

I've had some crazy experiences with cap's and rotor's. Not with the R but my Nissans, and while the idle was also abnormal it actually improved till it just died one day. Turned out to be a faulty brand new cap.

If everything was fine Before the "tune up" go back and check and recheck Everything you just did.

This is what i would presume is going on! Have you ever changed these things before?
