ATTENTION:::BIG JAMES- iI need your help bro!!! I know you got the exp.
as you noted earlier, you put some 98 lude seats in your accord. i believe you have a 5th gen. well, i got my 99 lude seats today, and tried to put them into my 4th gen, (which should be the same rails, i think). anyways, those mother fu**ers would no fit in any which way. [this is just the drivers side seat, i ddint even get to the passenger] i tried just mounting 2 bolts diagonally on the lude rails, and that didnt work, so i tried switching the passenger side rail from the accord(closest to the center console) and mount 3 bolts, but that didnt work either. so i replaced both rails form the accord, but the driver side rail part wouldnt bolt up. only one bolt will bolt in to the top part of the seat. so the seat will not stay still, it falls back when weight is put on it. so, i have figured you must use the driver side rail form the prelude, or drill another hole on the accord one. anyways, i was unsuccessful in my many attempts that took me 4 hours. HOW IN THE HELL DID YOU DO IT???????? HELP ME OUT BIG JAMES !!!! i cant figure it out. Teach me in the ways of the force so i can one day have lude seats like you. LOL peace
I had to use the lower half of the Accord rail. Yeah, a real bitch! If you look at the Accord rail, you can see where it is riveted together. I had to drill the rivets out. The Prelude rail was easy to take apart. It is bolted together. So I unbolted the lower half of the rail. Then you have to drill holes, and bolt the lower part of the Accord rail to the upper part of the Prelude rail.
Here is a pic of the Accord Rails.

The lower partion of the rail, where it gets flat, and the track slides. That needs to be removed.
Here is the Prelude rail.

Notice how the rail comes apart on the bottom. Replace that bottom piece with the bottom piece from the Accord.
You should only have to do this on the rails next to the doors. The rails nest to the gear shifter on the Accord seat, should bolt right to the Prelude seat.
Does this make sense? If not, I can try to explain better.

makes perfect sense. i noticed that the accord railes had the rivets holding them together, but i didnt know you could unbult the prelude ones. how hard was it to drill the rivets out of the accord?? i was actually thinking about switching both rails, and then drilling another hole into the door side of the upper part of the seat. but the seat doesnt fit exactly right. i think ill try you way. thanks
Good Luck, and let me know how it works out!!!!!!!!!!!
stay tuned

lol. i know how you feel. it works
you have to bolt one at a time, and move the seat to make the rest line up. it takes forever, and youll probably need an extra person, and some type of long breaker bar to move the seat. good luck man

i finally got it
i used my intuitiveness and yours, and big james
by the way, thank you
i did the rail swap on the drivers side, and bolted the 2 drivers side bolts. then i went to the right rear one and drilled a hole all the way through, to the bottom of the car lol. i have to score some washers and a shorter bolt but it does the job. the front right im gonna have to end up drilling another hole possibly. these seats own. the frustration, anger, cursing, and waiting finally paid off
but after all that im thinking of selling the passenger seat so i can save up more money for my swap.......who the **** needs their passenger to be comfy hehe
thanks again honda-tech
cliffnotes: i got my seats in, me happy, might not do passenger side cus i need $ so might sell it
