OK...so i get in my car this morning and turn the key and get nothing. At first i thought that it was the battery, but everything else still worked. So i put some cables on it just to be safe....still nothing. So i check all the connections on the starter and they were fine...i even cleaned them off a little...stll nothing. Then i get my girl to try and start the car while i tap on the starter...and guess what....still nothing. Then i get mad as hell and beat the hell outta the starter...i get in and turn the key and it sorta buzzes now. It sounds like the starter is tryin to spin or something but it just wont. So my question is...is there any way possible to get this thing to start? Like roll it and try it or something?
I need to get this thing to start one more time for me. Im in charlotte right now visiting my girl and i live over an hour away...so i need to be able to drive this bitch home where i have tools and such. This is just my luck...everything seems to be going wrong lately...and not just with my car
. Thanks

Assuming you have a manual, get it rolling between 5-10 mph, and pop the clutch, it will start right up as long as nothing else is wrong.
EDIT: If you have never done this before, make sure the key is in the ON position and the car is in 1st gear if you are rolling forward or reverse if you are rolling backward.

Damn...it has to be that fast? Its just me and my girl down here..and there arent any hills of notable size anywhere around. I might be able to get it going a couple miles an hour at the most. Thanks for the quick reply
Well, little Honda engines require almost nothing to get them started during a roll. Roll it as fast as you can, your g/f should even be able to push it fast enough make sure the key is on, it is in 1st with the clutch pedal pushed in, and have her roll the car. When you reach a good roll, let out the clutch quickly and it should roar right up.
Its not that hard to get the car moving 5 to 10, just get behind it and start running, even a slight decline I.E. in a parking lot leading up to one of those big drains in the middle of the lot is enough to help you out. Hell, our cars don't weigh that much as is.

Ok...well im gonna try this in an hour or so when my gf gets outta school. So all i have to do is have the key in the on position, have it in first, roll as fast as i can then drop the clutch and itll fire up? Sounds easy enough to me.
Its weird that nothing like this happened when it was boosted...damn i miss my turbo
Well im in a parking lot...the only problem is taht i have like 15-20ft to push it until i hit a curb...unless i can get it pushed all around the lot to another hill.
