Question with GSR swap!!!

Could I use a B16a ecu and just wire in a knock sensor and be alright or should I just do the OBD conversion and use the GSR ecu???

You should really do the OBD-1 conversion. but its been done either way.

The GSR I am gonna get is a 2000 isn t it OBD2??? Can I run OBD2 motor with OBD1 ECU???

oh didn't see that it was a OBD-2 motor. they have OBD-2 to OBD-1 conversion harnesses

I guess I would need an OBD0 to OBD2 conversion, plus the ECU

You can't go from OBD-2 --> OBD-0; well you could but it would be a bitch to wire. Best thing to do would be to go from OBD-2 --> OBD-1.

Just wire the obd2 engine as a obd1, its easy.
Use your cars harness, and modify it. Check my site for a how to.
