i just put a d15b vtech into my 88 crx hf and its runnin fine, vtec and all but my rev limiter is hittin at 5000 ( im not sure it feels like revlimiter though it doesnt fell like it cuts out as hard as rev limiter is supposed to)please help im goin crazy

 

what ecu are u using?

any check engine lights?

 

ive got a zc ecu for an auto but i tried other ecu's and it does the same. im not throwing any codes

 

have u done basic tune up?

 

sparkplugs-cap and rotor-tried different plug wires....yep done it. do you think it could be a bad gauge cluster???? do i have to use a vtec ecu?
