Default bad resistor box?

hey ive just swapped a b16a into a 91 si, but for some reason only one cylinder seems to be firing. I was wandering what the symptoms are for a bad resister box. Or if not the resister box, what would be causing this to happen. also What is the the proper way to test a distributor for spark? any help is appreciatted!

tia,
chaz

there are no symptoms, if the box doesn't work than it was wired wrong.
THEY DO NOT GO BAD!

You know, I had the same thing happen when I tried converting my dx to mpfi, injectors had power but were getting so signal and wouldnt fire, I tried 2 diff boxes but nothing...i just left it as a bad ecu and had to convert everything back.....worst part is its an auto and damn ps9's are hard to come by.

So basicalyl I dont think they can "go bad" as joshDM said before.

yeah.. all the wires are tied into each other..

maybe you just didn't bush the injector clips down all the way..??? (i did that once ) or something stupid like firing order..

are you sure that only 1 cylinder is firing? or is this just a guess?
