Default 96 Spec Wheel Bearing - different?

https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=994005

Hi All,

After looking at my motor this weekend I am fairly sure that my bearing is on its way out. So I will be looking at replacing shortly, and found Willards excellent bearing install thread

My question thou is the wheel bearing in a 4stud 96spec hub the same as 98 spec 5 stud.

Also I am running without brake dust shields, I wonder if that has had anything to do with the wearing of the bearing.

Pull the hub off, measure the OD of the hub, and I can give you the ID of the wheel bearing to compare.
