Default is this a good buy or what

one of my good friends got into a accident last month a totalled his 2000 Acura Integra....with the b18a motor in it.....and for 1000 i can purchase this.....i was just wondering if it was a good idea...it was hit in the front but from looking @ the motor i didnt see any problems...no leaks no nothing...well heres a link to the pics of my car and of the Teg....please lots of feedback!!!!

the frame is bent and cuz its a unibody u cant do much but scrap it out....if anyone wants parts besides the motor and ECU let me know i can help ya out...leather interior...the whole 9 yards this car is a beaut!!

So the $1000 is for the whole car or just the engine? Whole thing, I'd do it. Just the engine/tranny, not such a great deal. Being able to sell the whole leather interior and hopefully the rims will recoup some of your expense.

It's an obd-2 B18b engine...some of it you won't be able to use without extensive work...ecu/distributor/injectors. It's far easier to replace them with obd-0 teg parts
You'll also need the Hasport hydraulic tranny mount kit to use that tranny.
