I recently purchased a 89 Civic Dx. Im in bad need of an engine swap for street performance 270hp+. I wanted to know what is a good, modern honda or acura engine to swap it out with.

You're going to need more then an engine swap to hit 270hp.
Turbo, supercharger, or insane amounts of nitrous?
Any which combination, you're looking at $5k easy...and that's if you do all the work yourself.
