Default Wiring H23 for VTEC

Hey all,

I have my H23 swap out. Wooohoo.

Anyway, I need to know how best to run the two wires to the VTEC solenoid. Also, can I use the type of wire used for the amplifier remote wire??

If anyone has pics, I would VERY much appreciate that.

Thanks!!

i dont know about running the wires for vtec, but i always use speaker wire for those type of things...the remote wire is too thin and flimsy for me.

Andy, I'm in the process of doing this myself.
I actually was gonna take pics of the procedure but
I can't find my brother's digital camara

Basically, the vtec soleniod only has one wire (green/yellow)
and the vtec op switch has two wires (one blue, one black/ground)

Now, If you are using the h23 engine wiring harness,
you won't have the connectors to each of the switches
which you will need to wire to the ecu.

You have to cut them off of your JDM h22 wiring harness.

Then if you have the pins from the man (CHK4TIX) ,
plug them into the connector that goes to the ecu
(A4 and D16 in think )

Run wires to the appropriate places which you probably have already
studied up on
