IMO, A short shifter is not needed. The b/d series throws are short enough. You'll miss more shifts and destroy more trannies w/ a "short shifter".

doesnt apc make one of those too

but i played with one of the C's adjustable shifters...and i'd NEVER buy one over a stock ITR shifter. i swapped out several shifters in my car...and always come back to the stock ITR one...it just seems to feel the best, to me.
