im lookin up stuff for my car and their all for the 2nd gen 1.5 sohc and that was i have in my 1st gen crx but are teh engines the same?

 

No they are not the same. You will have a hard time finding performance parts for an 85

 

i have an 87 its a d15a3 and then the 2nd gens a d15a somethin but they r really that differnt of engines

 

u have pixs that would help a lot, maybe someone put a newer motor in.but i dont think so.

There are alot of parts for the 84-87 SI Crx with F/I just not the Carb.

 

my 87 si is f/i and i wouldnt think that the engines could be that different except the fact that the 88 1.5 is comes ont eh dx but it has to be pretty close i just wanted to know if a flywheel for an 88crx 1.5 would fit on my 87 crx 1.5

No it wont.. No parts are interchangeable between the 87 and 88 Motor.. But the 97 1.5 is Full Fuel Injected so u have something to work with.
