Default 4th gen, what is that sensor/solonoid on the fire wall?

it is next to the map sensor. i thought that it was part od the evap system and i just took that out.

this is the one located behind the itake mainfold? with this not plugged in will it cause a 4 grand rev limit?

sorry i was thinking the wrong one at first.
Evap Emissions Control Solenoid.

and yea removeing can cause irractic idle.

You need to cap off your vacumm lines.

thats what i thought it was. i removed my whole evap system. everything is capped. i did a lot of stuff at once, including building a quick engine in 2 days...

ill fig out the problem...but if anyone knows what causes a 4k rev limit ill start there

the cel is on, but no codes show up

its actually the evap purge control solenoid, but same thing, if you need to know any others...here ya go

youve got a phantom code... Basically your ECU is wanting something to be there thats not there.. (im betting its the evap)


4 grand redlines also come from Hondata's that are messed up... also maybe an ECU.

nah i built a quick temp engine. h22a4 block w/my built top end. i was using it to go to nopi but it blew a hose on the way there
