Default H23 to H22 Sensors

I recently bought a car that had the H22 motor swap. However, the previous owner didnt bother to wire the tempature sensor or the master sensor in the distributor cap..... If anyone could be of some assistant to some information leading to getting these wired please let me know....Thanks!

I dont know of any master sensor but the tempsensor should be the same wire. You shouldnt have to change any thing with that sensor. Just find it and hook it up

Sounds like he dropped an H22A4 into a 4th gen. If so, then the position sensor isn't necessary, but I could be wrong.

If you are using the Distributor from the older H23 (Which you should be in order to use the existing wiring harness.. ) there is no need to connect the crank position sensor. It is all taken care of in the wiring to the distributor.

The coolant sensor should be there. The air temp sensor is probably hanging low. Either way, either wiring harness (H22 or H23) will have it. If its not there, it's cut off. (doubt it) just look, it's there.

Sounds like you're using the H23 wiring harness if the Crank position connector isn't there. Have you been able to wire up the Vtec solenoid and vtec oil pressure sensor?
You're problem might be, you just need an H23 distributor and you have an h22 distributor that won't connect. Yeah, actually that sounds exactly what you're running into. not enough connectors on the Distributor right? find someone with a known H23 distributor and check it out. I bet it connects right up. Then just don't worry about the crank position sensor, because like I said, it's taken care of within the H23 distributor. Also you may have to wire up the vtec on your own. The VTEC solenoid wire is Green with yellow (Or is it the other way around? (It's been awhile since I've done this) - Do a search, there's a good write up from a guy here in Houston who did it. Very Detailed.

This is NSXLR8 writing on stoopids log on.

Take Care.
