i finally got my 1 pieces in and now it seems that the outside of it is getting kinda hot? is this normal? and also the jackass i bought them from cut the fog light plug really short what kinda of wire can i use and where can i buy it?

 

Just buy some wire the same size or slightly bigger from any car auto store or electronics store.
Mine don't seem to get hot but I don't think it's something to worry about.
